Through Certiverse, you will need to download and use the proctoring program Rosalyn. Rosalyn will validate your identity by asking you to take a photo of your ID and then record you taking the exam. Certiverse will walk you through instructions for this so please be sure to reserve time to download the app.
Japanese
The Braze Certified Practitioner, Marketer, and Digital Strategist exams as well as the Braze Certification Email Deliverability Skills Badge are now offered in Japanese. Braze Certified Practitioner Study-Guide; Practitioner Learning Path
Skills Badges are skill and topic-specific exams that validate beginner level knowledge on specialized topics within Braze. Unlike our persona-based Certification exams, these shorter form assessments have less of a barrier to entry, making them more accessible to a wider range of users. The Skills Badges are not meant to replace our persona-based certification exams, but rather to complement them. They offer a different approach to validating knowledge, focusing on specific topics or subject areas rather than a comprehensive role-based exam.
Training classes are not required to take an exam, although we highly recommend attending a training course to augment your knowledge and prepare you for your exam. More information about our live trainings is available here.
To preserve the value of the certification program, all candidates must accept the terms and conditions of the Certification Candidate Agreement during the registration process, and before beginning each certification exam. Please read the agreement thoroughly before scheduling your exam. If you are not willing to be bound by the agreement, you will not be permitted to take the exam.
Braze Certification exams are purchased and proctored online through Certiverse. Once you create a user profile on the Certiverse site, you can register for your exam. Certiverse offers on-demand exams, meaning that once you register for your exam, you will have 7 days to complete it.
Please note: This means, you should only book your exam when you feel prepared to take your test.
You are required to bring only your government-issued ID to the exam. Be sure the name used to sign up for the exam matches your ID as this is how the proctor will verify your identity.
If you need to cancel your exam, please ensure to do so at least 24 hours prior to the closure of your exam window in order to be eligible for a refund. The exam window refers to the 7-day timeframe that begins once you register for your exam. If you do not cancel your exam 24 hours before the window closes, then you will not be able to receive a refund.
We are committed to making reasonable efforts to accommodate you as required by law. Please contact certification@braze.com at least 21 days in advance of your test date to discuss available accommodations.
You should have a strong internet connection and your computer should have video and audio capabilities.
To ensure there will be no issue completing your exam, your system must meet the specific requirements. If you have additional questions or concerns regarding your system requirements, email support@certiverse.com. Before taking your exam, review the Certiverse Test Taker Knowledge Base.
The use of reference materials and/or mobile phones are not allowed during the certification examination. This includes, but is not limited to: books, notebooks, paper and any other electronic or printed materials. Reference materials should not be present on the table/area in which the exam is conducted.
The lengths of our exams are as follows:
Braze Certified Practitioner: 60 minutes
Braze Certified Marketer: 90 minutes
Braze Certified Digital Strategist: 90 minutes
Braze Certified Developer: 90 minutes
Braze Skills Badges: 30 minutes
Upon completing your exam, you will see your results immediately on the testing screen. If you pass your exam, you will then receive an email from Credly with information about your new certification badge. This email should arrive in your inbox within 30 minutes of completing your exam.
If you lose a copy of your score report or forget to save a copy, contact certification@braze.com with the Subject Line: Requesting copy of score report.
Once you pass, you will earn a Braze digital certification credential and be authorized to use the certification title and logo on your business cards and other professional collateral. You will also receive an invite to our exclusive LinkedIn Braze Certified Professionals group.
If you fail an exam, you must wait 14 days before you are eligible to retake the exam. You can only attempt each specific Braze Certification exam a maximum of 3 times in 365 days. You must pay the full registration fee for each exam attempt. Once you have passed an exam, you will not be able to retake the same exam for three years.
